Theology @ 9
Theology @ 9 gives members a weekly opportunity to get to know more about their Creator who eternally exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These hour-long classes are ongoing and topical in nature. Lessons are gleaned from and undergirded by Holy Scripture. Participants grow in their knowledge of God and as a result, experience the joy of knowing him better as they are better prepared to make him known. Of note, most of our Theology @ 9 classes parallel the core seminars offered at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington DC. To review CHBC’s core seminars see http://www.capitolhillbaptist.org/resources/core-seminars/.
CURRENT THEO @ 9 [Sunday 9am Bible Study]
Special Church-wide emphasis beginning October 2nd
While typically we offer 3-4 different topical studies quarterly, beginning October 2nd, we will offer one topic only, “Living as a Church,” which will be taught concurrently in 3 separate class rooms. Our goal for this class is to explore a practical blueprint of what makes a church healthy — where sound doctrine expresses itself in love that glorifies God.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH during 9am Bible Study
In addition to regular adult sessions, HCF provides age-graded classes for our children and youth during Sunday morning Bible study, utilizing Lifeway curriculum entitled The Gospel Project. Class groupings are: Birth-1 yr olds; 2 yr olds; 3-5 yr olds (not in kindergarten); K-1st grade; 2-3rd grade; 4-5th grade; Middle School (6-8th); High School (9-12th).
