Harvest Christian Fellowship is a Christ-centered, Gospel-driven fellowship of believers, affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia. We are somewhat unique among Baptists in that we are led by a plurality of spiritual men (elders); yet, our church government is “congregational.” That means in matters of discipline, discipleship, and doctrine the congregation collectively has decision making authority. Thus, we are elder led, not elder ruled.
At HCF, we believe and teach that a proper understanding of God’s righteous demands (the Law) leads to a proper appreciation of God’s good news (The Gospel). Simply put, the law is what God demands. The Gospel is what God gives. What God demands in the law is what He gives in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That’s good news!
