Travis was raised in Mechanicsville in a Christian family and church. During his youth, he recognized through the gospel his inherent sin nature and inability to earn his way to a restored relationship with his Creator. He accepted Christ’s forgiveness and surrendered to Him as Lord and Savior as an early teen. Travis has been married to his best friend, Anne, for 30 years, and they have two grown children who have both accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and have begun their own families. Travis earned an accounting degree from James Madison University and has worked in accounting and finance throughout his professional career. Travis has attended Harvest Christian Fellowship since its inception. He has served HCF as treasurer, teacher, and deacon, and currently as an elder since 2019.
