Kyle grew up in Georgia and came to faith in Jesus at age 15. After graduating with a degree in journalism from the University of Georgia, Kyle married his wife, Caroline, and they moved to Wake Forest, NC, where Kyle received M.Div. and Th.M. degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. After serving at a church in Wake Forest, the Smiths moved to Mechanicsville in 2023 to serve Harvest. Kyle is passionate about Christ-centered exposition and making disciples, and in his spare time he likes to coach his sons’ sports teams, read, and run.
